Police seize P1.1 million in methamphetamine during Iloilo City operation
Authorities arrested three suspected drug traffickers and confiscated approximately 165 grams of crystal methamphetamine in a controlled buy-bust operation in Iloilo City early Sunday. The seized drugs have an estimated street value of P1.12 million.

The operation took place in Barangay Sto. Niño Norte, Arevalo, where police conducted a carefully coordinated enforcement action targeting known drug dealers operating in the area. Three individuals were taken into custody during the transaction, which law enforcement had arranged as part of an ongoing anti-narcotics campaign.
Police identified the primary suspects by their aliases as "Romer," 30 years old, and "Jessie," 35, both flagged in police records as high-value drug targets due to their involvement in large-scale trafficking operations. A third individual, identified as "Ruping," was also arrested at the scene.
The 165-gram haul of crystal methamphetamine represents a significant drug seizure for the region. The confiscated narcotics have been forwarded to authorities for laboratory examination and proper disposition, while the suspects face appropriate drug trafficking charges.
