ILIGAN CITY — Joint operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-10 (PDEA-10) and the Iligan City Police Office (ICPO) arrested two drug suspects and recovered suspected shabu worth an estimated P3.7 million in a buy-bust operation conducted Tuesday afternoon in Barangay Tomas Cabili.

The arrested individuals, both males aged 34 and 33, were taken into custody following the controlled transaction, authorities said. The operation was mounted as part of intensified anti-narcotics efforts in the city.

The suspects are currently in police custody pending investigation and the filing of appropriate charges. The confiscated drugs have been turned over to the PDEA-10 for documentation and further disposition in accordance with established drug enforcement protocols.

The bust underscores ongoing law enforcement operations targeting high-level drug trafficking in Northern Mindanao. Police said the investigation into the suspects' drug network connections remains ongoing.
