Police seize RM8.3 million in drugs from KL condominium unit

Police raided a condominium unit in the Kuchai Lama area of Kuala Lumpur, uncovering a substantial cache of illicit drugs valued at approximately RM8.3 million. The operation resulted in the detention of a Vietnamese man travelling on a Canadian passport, who is now assisting authorities in their investigation.

The seized narcotics comprised 110 kilograms of methamphetamine and ecstasy, representing one of the larger drug hauls in the region in recent months. Preliminary investigations suggest the drugs were being stored at the residential location for distribution purposes.

Police have indicated that the investigation has expanded beyond the initial arrest, with officers actively pursuing leads into the supply chain. Authorities are working to identify and apprehend suppliers and middlemen believed to be involved in the trafficking network.

The bust underscores ongoing law enforcement efforts to combat drug trafficking operations in the Klang Valley. Authorities have urged the public to report any suspicious activities related to drug distribution to the nearest police station or through available tip-off channels.
