Police to auction 244 unclaimed vehicles after six-month claim period

The Future City Police have initiated proceedings to auction 244 unclaimed vehicles currently stored at the Moinabad police station grounds. The decision comes after owners have been provided a six-month period to stake their claims on the vehicles, after which those remaining unclaimed will be put up for sale.

Among the vehicles awaiting auction are popular two-wheeler and three-wheeler models, with motorcycles including the Passion Plus, Splendor, and Pulsar featuring prominently in the inventory. The Glamour model also constitutes a significant portion of the unclaimed vehicles list.

The police station has been tasked with managing the growing backlog of abandoned and unclaimed vehicles that accumulate from various circumstances, including accident recovery, seizures, and vehicles left at police facilities. The auction process is intended to clear storage space and generate revenue for the department.

Owners who believe their vehicles are in the lot have been advised to contact the Moinabad police station with proof of ownership during the designated claim period. Vehicles not claimed within the stipulated timeframe will proceed to public auction.
