BAGUIO CITY – SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet Inc. (SNAPBI) has pledged P4 million to support the construction of the Itogon Super Health Center, supplementing P20 million in funding secured from the Department of Health for 2025. The municipal government of Itogon and the hydropower company formalized their commitment through a memorandum of agreement signed on October 12.

The combined P24 million in funding represents a significant boost to healthcare infrastructure in the municipality, which sits in the Cordillera Administrative Region. The super health center is expected to expand medical services and improve access to healthcare for residents of Itogon and surrounding areas.

SNAPBI's contribution underscores the private sector's role in supporting public health initiatives in resource-constrained regions. The company operates hydroelectric facilities in Benguet province, with operations that intersect with community development priorities.

The health center project aligns with the Department of Health's broader strategy to strengthen primary healthcare delivery across provincial municipalities. Officials have not yet disclosed specific timelines for the facility's completion or operational status.
