PR Association of Sri Lanka launches inaugural communications certificate course
The Public Relations Association of Sri Lanka has successfully completed its first Certificate Course in Public Relations and Corporate Communications, developed in partnership with the Sri Lanka Press Institute. All participants in the inaugural batch achieved passing grades, with the majority earning Merit and Distinction classifications.

The three-month Certificate Course represents a significant milestone for the national industry body, which designed the programme to strengthen professional standards and competency in the field of public relations and corporate communications across Sri Lanka.
Delivered in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Press Institute, the course provided comprehensive training in contemporary PR practices, strategic communications, and industry best practices. The strong academic performance of the inaugural cohort, with all candidates successfully completing the programme, underscores both the quality of instruction and the commitment of participants to professional development.
The majority of graduates achieved Merit and Distinction grades, reflecting high standards of engagement and mastery of course content. A graduation ceremony was held to recognise the achievements of the inaugural batch and formally present their certificates.
