Pre-trial conference set in graft case against ex-Navy chief, Rajapaksa
The Colombo High Court has scheduled a pre-trial conference in a corruption case brought by Sri Lanka's anti-graft watchdog against former Navy Commander Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda and Yoshitha Rajapaksa. Both accused appeared in court on bail.

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) filed the case against the two defendants, who made appearances before the Colombo High Court on September 17. Both Karannagoda and Rajapaksa are currently out on bail pending trial proceedings.
