MANILA — Rey Joseph Nieto, who operates under the online moniker 'Thinking Pinoy,' has been appointed to a new position within the Philippine government's executive office, according to an official announcement Wednesday.
Nieto's appointment letter, dated September 1, designates him as assistant secretary at the Office of the Cabinet Secretary. Presidential Communications Office spokesperson Dave Gomez confirmed the appointment to members of the media.
