Philip Engbino, 48, was killed in a shooting incident on a national highway in Carrascal, Surigao del Sur, on Sunday morning while operating a vehicle, according to local reports. The married businessman, originally from Minglanilla, Cebu, served as manager of EZMMI GenCon, a construction contractor.
Police authorities in Surigao del Sur are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Details regarding the assailant or assailants remain unclear at this time, and investigators have not yet determined a motive for the attack.
