MANILA — The House prosecution team presented findings Thursday showing that millions of pesos in insurance policies and investment products linked to Vice President Sara Duterte and her spouse, Manases Carpio, were not fully reflected in their statements of assets, liabilities, and net worth filed annually over the past four years.

According to the prosecution's analysis, the discrepancies between actual holdings and those listed under "other personal properties" in their SALNs occurred consistently from 2022 through 2025. The amounts involved represent a substantial gap in financial disclosure, raising concerns about the completeness and accuracy of the officials' annual filings.

The findings were presented during proceedings that have focused on examining the financial records and declarations of the Vice President and her family members. The prosecution noted that proper disclosure of all assets is required under the law governing statements of assets, liabilities, and net worth filed by government officials.

The case continues as investigators examine additional financial documentation and records to establish the full extent of the discrepancies between reported and actual holdings.
