Prosecutor in 26/11 case appears on Indian gameshow with Bollywood team

Ujjwal Nikam, the public prosecutor who led the case against 26/11 Mumbai terror attack convict Ajmal Kasab, appeared as a guest on the 18th season of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. The episode featured the cast and crew of the 1991 action film Prahar, which dealt with themes of law enforcement and justice.

Host Amitabh Bachchan reportedly referenced dialogue from his own film during the episode, which brought together the movie's team for a special appearance on the Sony Entertainment Television program.

Nikam's appearance on the primetime show marked a rare public television outing for the senior government lawyer, whose prosecution of Kasab resulted in a death sentence in 2010. The episode also saw actor Rajummar Rao reciting famous lines from Bachchan's cinematic works.
