Puravankara to develop ₹1,100 crore residential project in Bengaluru

Puravankara Limited has signed a joint development agreement (JDA) for a residential project in Bengaluru with a gross development value (GDV) of ₹1,100 crore, the company announced. The project, located near Electronic City, will span 7.83 acres and feature approximately 0.89 million square feet of saleable area.

The development represents the company's fifth significant land transaction in Bengaluru during the current fiscal year, underscoring its continued expansion in the city's real estate market. Electronic City, a major commercial and residential hub in the eastern part of Bengaluru, has emerged as an attractive destination for real estate developers seeking to capitalise on the area's infrastructure and connectivity.

Puravankara, one of South India's leading real estate developers, has been strategically acquiring properties across Bengaluru to strengthen its portfolio. The company's multiple transactions in the city during FY27 reflect robust investor confidence in Bengaluru's residential real estate sector, driven by strong demand from homebuyers and improving infrastructure connectivity.

The Electronic City project adds to Puravankara's growing presence in key Bengaluru micro-markets. The developer's focus on mid-to-premium residential segments aligns with evolving consumer preferences in the city's competitive real estate landscape.
