Puspakom eyes round-the-clock operations by next year

Puspakom, the national automotive inspection body, is exploring the feasibility of extending operations to round-the-clock service in the coming year, according to its chief executive officer Mahmood Razak Bahman. The expansion would mark a significant enhancement to service availability for vehicle owners seeking inspection and certification services across the country.

The decision to implement 24-hour operations will largely depend on how the public responds to Puspakom's existing seven-day weekly service model, Bahman said. The authority is currently gauging demand patterns and user satisfaction with the expanded weekly schedule before committing to the more ambitious operational framework.
