PUTRAJAYA — The administrative centre came alive on Friday as organisers conducted a full-scale rehearsal for the 2026 National Day celebration, drawing uniformed personnel, marching contingents and displaying the iconic Jalur Gemilang across the sprawling Dataran Putrajaya precinct.
The exercise demonstrated the logistical complexity involved in staging Malaysia's premier national commemoration, with various government agencies, military and civilian groups coordinating their roles and positions for the main event scheduled for August 31, 2026.
