PwC India partners with Claroty to strengthen critical infrastructure cybersecurity

PwC India has formed a strategic partnership with Claroty, a provider of operational technology security solutions, to bolster cybersecurity defences across India's critical infrastructure landscape. The alliance combines PwC's consulting expertise and managed security services with Claroty's specialised capabilities in operational technology and industrial control systems protection.

The partnership is designed to address vulnerabilities in connected environments and operational technology networks that support essential services including power generation, water utilities, manufacturing and transportation. As organisations increasingly digitise their operations and integrate legacy systems with modern networks, the attack surface for cyber threats has expanded significantly across these critical sectors.

Under the alliance, PwC India and Claroty will jointly develop integrated security solutions and deliver comprehensive assessments to help organisations identify and remediate vulnerabilities in their operational environments. The collaboration will leverage advanced threat detection, monitoring and response capabilities tailored to the unique security challenges faced by critical infrastructure operators in India.

The partnership reflects growing recognition among Indian enterprises of the need for specialised cybersecurity approaches that address both information technology and operational technology domains. Critical infrastructure operators face sophisticated threats that require deep technical expertise and sector-specific knowledge to mitigate effectively.
