Qatar to proceed with Formula One, MotoGP races in November

The Lusail Grand Prix, a centrepiece of the Formula One season, and the corresponding MotoGP race are among the highest-profile events on their respective circuits. Qatar has invested substantially in developing its motorsport infrastructure and securing hosting rights for these competitions.
Local organising committees have indicated that security arrangements and operational plans remain intact, though neither officials nor racing authorities have provided detailed assessments of how regional developments might affect attendance, logistics, or broadcast operations.
The November races follow Qatar's previous successful hosting of major international sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Both racing series have maintained active calendars across the Middle East and wider Asia-Pacific region despite periodic disruptions in recent years.
