The shipment comprises 69 kilovolt to 13.8 kilovolt distribution transformers destined for Cotabato Light and Power Company, a subsidiary of the Philippines' Aboitiz Power Group, one of the nation's largest power conglomerates.

The transformer units are designed for electricity transmission and distribution applications across the Philippines. The $700,000-plus export contract demonstrates growing confidence in Vietnamese manufacturing capabilities within Southeast Asia's power sector.

Quang Ninh province, located in northeastern Vietnam, has emerged as a manufacturing hub for industrial and electrical equipment. The successful delivery to Cotabato Light and Power Company represents a significant milestone for the exporting firm and underscores Vietnam's competitive positioning in supplying specialized equipment to regional markets.

The export follows Vietnam's strategic push to expand high-value manufacturing exports across Southeast Asia, capitalizing on improving trade relationships and infrastructure development initiatives throughout the region.
