The gold Rolex, valued at approximately $55,000, was discovered at the airport's security screening area. Officials launched an immediate search to identify and locate the owner, successfully tracing the Chinese national within 30 minutes.
Working against the clock, airport personnel contacted the traveler and arranged for the return of the timepiece before boarding completed for his flight. The rapid response highlighted the coordination between airport security personnel and flight operations staff.
