Rahul Gandhi visits Chennai for student engagement event, meets CM Vijay

Rahul Gandhi, senior Congress leader, arrived in Chennai to engage with students as part of the 'Voice of Students' initiative, underlining the party's focus on youth-related issues and concerns in the state. During his visit, Gandhi met with Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to discuss matters pertaining to student welfare and education policy in Tamil Nadu.

The event reflected the Congress party's efforts to strengthen its presence among younger demographics across South India. Gandhi's interaction with students provided a platform for them to raise concerns and seek inputs on issues affecting their future prospects.

The visit comes as the Congress continues its broader engagement strategy across regional constituencies, particularly in southern states where it seeks to consolidate its political standing. The meeting with the Chief Minister underscored the collaborative approach between the national party and the state administration on matters of shared concern.
