The Mysuru Railway Division will roll out special Jeevan Pramaan 5.0 camps at five locations to assist railway pensioners and family pensioners in obtaining their Digital Life Certificates. The camps are designed to simplify the process of generating and submitting the mandatory life certificates required for pension verification.
Digital Life Certificates serve as proof of life for pensioners and help streamline the verification process conducted by the railways. The initiative eliminates the need for pensioners to visit distant offices or banks to complete the formality, making the process more accessible and efficient.
The multi-location approach ensures wider reach across the division, allowing a larger number of beneficiaries to avail of the facility within their respective areas. Railway officials will provide on-site assistance to pensioners and their representatives to navigate the digital platform and complete the submission process.
The Jeevan Pramaan system has been instrumental in reducing administrative burden on both pensioners and railway authorities. By conducting these specialized camps, the Mysuru division aims to ensure higher compliance rates and timely pension disbursement to all eligible beneficiaries.
