Rain brings cheer to Tirupati as temple prepares for Garuda Seva

The temple town of Tirupati received timely rainfall in the days preceding one of its most significant religious observances, offering respite to gathering pilgrims ahead of the Garuda Seva celebrations. The showers came as a welcome relief given the region's weather patterns during the season.

The Garuda Seva, an annual ritual featuring the deity's procession around the temple premises on an elaborately decorated chariot, is among the most eagerly anticipated events in the religious calendar at the Sri Venkateswara Temple. The ceremony draws thousands of devotees from across the country to witness the sacred procession.

While surrounding areas received rainfall, the hill town itself remained largely dry on the day of the celebration. This favorable weather pattern ensured uninterrupted proceedings throughout the day, allowing organizers to execute the procession according to schedule without weather-related complications.

Temple authorities had made extensive preparations to accommodate the expected influx of pilgrims and ensure the smooth conduct of rituals. The absence of adverse weather conditions at the temple site during the event contributed to its successful completion.
