MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecast continued cloudy skies and scattered rains across most of the archipelago on Sunday, Nov. 8, as three active weather systems converge over the region.
In its afternoon weather bulletin, Pagasa indicated that northeasterly winds, known locally as the easterlies, will sustain the wet conditions affecting numerous areas nationwide. The convergence of these multiple weather disturbances is expected to maintain moisture levels and cloud cover throughout the day.
Residents in affected regions are advised to monitor weather updates for any changes in rainfall intensity. Pagasa will continue issuing regular forecasts to track the movement and development of these weather systems.
