Rain expected in Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao as weather system moves in

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued its early morning weather advisory Tuesday, indicating that the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) would bring precipitation to Palawan and scattered areas throughout the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
The remainder of Luzon is expected to remain predominantly cloudy, with the ITCZ system directing most moisture-laden winds toward the southern and central portions of the country. Weather specialists from Pagasa's morning briefing noted the positioning of the weather system and its expected impact across the island groups.
Residents in affected areas, particularly those in Palawan and parts of the Visayas and Mindanao, are advised to monitor weather updates as rainfall conditions develop throughout the day. The Pagasa forecast comes as the country continues to experience its monsoon season, during which such weather systems are common across the region.
