Raipur to host India-Zimbabwe women's T20I series in October

Raipur has been confirmed as the venue for the complete India-Zimbabwe women's T20I series, with all three matches scheduled between October 16 and 20 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Naya Raipur. Each game will commence at 7 pm, according to an announcement made by Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association director Vijay Shah on Friday.

Online ticket sales will commence on October 12, with individual spectators permitted to purchase a maximum of six tickets per transaction. The CSCA has introduced multiple ticket options to cater to different categories of cricket enthusiasts, with single-match tickets priced from Rs 250 upwards. A series pass covering all three matches is available for Rs 499, while a two-match combination ticket has been priced at Rs 350.

Premium seating options include three individual ticket categories—Platinum at Rs 3,500, Gold at Rs 2,500, and Silver at Rs 2,000. Corporate hospitality packages are also available, with individual corporate box seats priced at Rs 3,500 and exclusive corporate boxes available for Rs 70,000.

Shah confirmed that all necessary regulatory clearances have been obtained to host the series, addressing earlier concerns that had been raised regarding groundwater usage for the event. The Raipur venue is expected to provide optimal facilities for the bilateral women's cricket engagement between the two nations.
