Raj Thackeray intensified his political offensive on Tuesday, demanding the scrapping of a Special Investigation Report and accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party of exploiting select individuals to entrench its political grip.
"It has become evident how the Bharatiya Janata Party leveraged individuals like Gyanesh Kumar to secure an endless grip on power," Thackeray said in a statement, underscoring his party's broader criticism of what he characterized as institutional misuse.
The MNS chief's intervention marks an escalation in opposition challenges to investigative proceedings, with his cousin Uddhav Thackeray, leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), having previously sought similar action.
