Rajasthan Road Accident Claims Four Family Members in Single Tragedy

Four members of a single family perished in a road accident on the Ramseen-Bhimmal State Highway in Jalore, Rajasthan, when a state roadways bus collided with a tempo vehicle. The deceased include a mother and three children from the same household.

The incident compounds an earlier tragedy for the family, which had lost the father of the household eight months prior to the accident. The surviving child, identified as 10-year-old Jhanvi, is now orphaned and the sole remaining member of her immediate family.

The funeral rites for three of the deceased—the mother and two children—were performed together on a single pyre, drawing widespread sympathy from the local community. The third child's final rites were conducted separately.

Authorities have impounded both vehicles involved in the collision as part of their ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. Police have initiated proceedings to determine the cause of the collision and ascertain responsibility for the incident.
