Rajinikanth's latest action thriller Jailer 2 has crossed the Rs 450-crore threshold at the Indian box office, sustaining robust performance across regional markets through its second week of theatrical release.
On day 14, the Tamil version emerged as the primary revenue driver, accumulating Rs 3.65 crore, underscoring the film's particular appeal in its home market. Telugu-language screenings contributed an additional Rs 1.50 crore on the same day, indicating healthy reception in that territory as well.
The multilingual appeal of the film across southern India continues to fuel its commercial trajectory. Trade analysts attribute the sustained collections to strong word-of-mouth and the leading actor's enduring fan base across demographic segments.
The film's performance places it among the significant box office draws for the year, with trade observers closely monitoring its lifetime collections as it progresses through additional weeks in cinema halls across the country.
