Ranbir Kapoor's daughter Raha becomes Kanjak during Navratri celebrations

Neetu Kapoor marked the occasion of Ashtami by hosting Kanya Pujan ceremonies at her residence, continuing a significant Navratri tradition observed by many Hindu families across India. The ritual, which involves the worship of young girls as manifestations of the divine feminine, saw Raha Kapoor dressed in an orange top and blue jeans as the Kanjak or worshipped girl child.

The grandmother personally performed the ceremonial worship, which traditionally includes washing the feet of the young girls and offering blessings. Neetu documented the celebrations and shared photographs from the puja on her social media accounts, giving followers a glimpse into the family's Navratri observances.

Kanya Pujan, particularly on the eighth or ninth day of Navratri, holds significant religious importance in Indian culture. The ritual symbolizes the veneration of the divine feminine energy and is practiced across numerous households during the nine-day festival period dedicated to Goddess Durga and her various manifestations.
