Range Rover Sport Electric opens pre-bookings in India amid pricing anticipation

The British automaker has begun accepting pre-bookings for the Range Rover Sport Electric, marking the company's continued push into India's growing premium electric vehicle segment. The vehicle will be manufactured at JLR's Solihull facility in the United Kingdom and imported to the Indian market.

The all-electric SUV is equipped with a 118.5 kWh battery pack that delivers an estimated WLTP range of up to 609 kilometers on a single charge. The powertrain generates 550 PS of output, positioning the vehicle as a high-performance option within the electric luxury SUV category. These specifications underscore JLR's commitment to blending traditional Range Rover capability with modern electric propulsion technology.

While bookings are now open, the company has deferred pricing details until 2025, allowing prospective customers to secure their place in the queue ahead of the official launch.
