Sara, who was recently eliminated from Rise And Fall 2, has condemned the barrage of threatening and abusive messages she received in the aftermath of her exit from the show. In a public statement, she highlighted that while disagreement and criticism are natural responses to reality television, certain forms of online harassment are unacceptable.

The contestant reported receiving death threats and rape threats directed at her, along with vulgar comments about her physical appearance. Sara emphasised that such behaviour extends beyond reasonable debate about her actions or opinions expressed during the programme.

"People are free to agree or disagree with my views," Sara stated, addressing the broader issue of online toxicity. "However, targeting me and my family with death and rape threats, and making dehumanising remarks about my body, crosses all boundaries of acceptable discourse."

Her account adds to growing concerns about online harassment faced by reality television personalities in India. Social media platforms have become increasingly scrutinised for their role in facilitating anonymous abuse directed at public figures and contestants on popular shows.

The incident underscores ongoing discussions about digital civility and the responsibility of viewers, platforms, and content creators in maintaining respectful online spaces during and after the broadcast of reality entertainment programming.
