Rebel attacks kill dozens in Sudan's Kordofan region, medics report

Sudan Doctors Network confirmed Wednesday that SPLM-N rebels carried out attacks across South Kordofan that resulted in at least 27 fatalities, marking another escalation in the ongoing conflict plaguing the region. The death toll included four children among the victims, according to the medical organization's documentation.
