Religious leaders condemn allegations against saint, announce social boycott

A gathering of religious leaders convened at the Siddhapith Hanuman Tekri Ashram in Vrindavan to address allegations made against prominent saint Premanand Ji Maharaj and other spiritual figures. The conclave issued a strong rebuke of what organizers characterized as baseless accusations leveled by Dinesh Sharma, also known as Dinesh Falahari.

Participants at the religious assembly said the statements attributed to Falahari constituted an affront to the spiritual community and its revered members. The gathering expressed particular concern over the nature and veracity of the claims made against the saints.

In a unanimous decision, the council passed a censure resolution against Falahari, formally announcing his social and religious ostracism. The measure reflects the assembly's assertion of collective disapproval and represents a significant social sanction within the religious community of the region.

The action underscores ongoing tensions within spiritual circles in Vrindavan, one of India's foremost pilgrimage destinations and home to numerous Hindu religious institutions and monastic communities.
