A major assembly of Hindu scholars and spiritual leaders gathered in Vrindavan on Tuesday to endorse controversial statements made by Bageswar Dham's chief priest regarding the nature of Lord Krishna. The congregation, organized jointly by Braj Tirth Devalaya Trust and Dharm Raksha Sangh, assembled at the historic Shri Radha Kanta Temple.

Hundreds of religious leaders and dharmacharyas participated in the grand convocation held at the revered shrine in the temple town, which is considered one of the most sacred sites in Hindu pilgrimage circuits. The gathering was convened specifically to discuss and validate recent statements attributed to Pandit Dheerendras Krishna Shastri, the chief custodian of Bageswar Dham in Uttarakhand.
The assembled scholars expressed their collective support for Shastri's theological interpretations concerning Lord Krishna's divine nature. The event highlighted ongoing debates within Hindu religious circles regarding scriptural understanding and theological positions held by prominent spiritual leaders.
Braj Tirth Devalaya Trust and Dharm Raksha Sangh, which jointly organized the event, framed the gathering as an effort to preserve and protect Hindu religious traditions and doctrinal positions. Such congregation-style meetings have become increasingly common among India's religious establishment when addressing statements or positions made by influential spiritual figures.
