Remulla denies receiving Marcos directives on Romualdez arrest handling

MANILA — Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla has denied receiving any directives from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. regarding the treatment of presidential cousin Martin Romualdez following his arrest.

Remulla emphasized that despite Romualdez's close family ties to the president, no special instructions were issued to guide how the former House Speaker would be handled by authorities.
