MANILA — Police in Quezon City arrested a woman on Wednesday for allegedly stealing a shopper's wallet inside a supermarket in Barangay Novaliches Proper, authorities said. The suspect carries an extensive criminal history dating back to 2014, with at least 28 documented cases on record.

According to the police report, the woman's previous charges include 23 theft-related offenses spanning pickpocketing, shoplifting, and other forms of larceny. She has also faced multiple cases of estafa, a form of swindling or fraud under Philippine law.

The arrest adds to what investigators describe as a pattern of repeat offenses. Police did not immediately disclose details about the identity of the victim or the value of the stolen wallet. The case is being processed through the Quezon City Police District.
