Resident doctor at Jodhpur AIIMS dies by suicide
A resident physician at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jodhpur has died by suicide, police said Monday. The doctor was found in his quarters at the medical institution.

Dr. Raj Naresh Yadav, a resident doctor at AIIMS Jodhpur, died by self-inflicted injection, according to police officials investigating the incident. The body was discovered in the doctor's quarters on the hospital premises and has been moved to the mortuary for autopsy and further examination.
Police initiated a formal investigation following the discovery. Preliminary searches of the doctor's room yielded several cigarette packets, though authorities have not yet disclosed additional details about the circumstances surrounding the death.
The incident has raised concerns within the medical community at the institution. AIIMS Jodhpur, one of the premier medical facilities in Rajasthan, has not yet issued an official statement regarding the matter or any support measures for affected staff members.
Police continue their investigation into the incident. The findings from the postmortem examination are awaited to establish a definitive cause of death.
