The 61-year-old victim, identified by police as a resident of Barangay Mina-anod, was discovered floating face-down in the water at approximately 6:10 p.m. on Monday.
Police responding to the scene recovered the body from the waters off Barangay Mina-anod. The initial assessment suggests the death resulted from drowning, though a full investigation is ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
