The transport minister announced that the government will disburse the aid to all qualifying drivers across the country using direct bank transfers, streamlining the payment process for the three transport sectors. The initiative aims to provide relief to drivers who have faced economic pressures in recent months.
Eligible recipients include taxi operators, rental car business owners, and school bus drivers who meet the ministry's established criteria. The electronic transfer method has been selected to ensure efficient and transparent distribution of the assistance funds.
The disbursement represents the government's continued commitment to supporting the transportation industry, which has been affected by fluctuating demand and operational challenges. Officials have urged all eligible drivers to ensure their banking information is updated with the relevant authorities to facilitate smooth payment processing.
The ministry has not yet announced a specific timeline for when the transfers will commence, but drivers are advised to monitor official government channels for further updates regarding payment schedules and any additional requirements.
