The long-term development initiative for Bandar Madani will span 15 years and require an investment of RM250 million, according to Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming. The comprehensive infrastructure programme aims to modernise the township's transportation network and improve vehicular flow across key routes.
The funding allocation will support the construction of new four-lane roads designed to accommodate growing traffic volumes within the township. In addition to the road network expansions, the project includes the building of two new bridges strategically positioned to enhance connectivity and reduce congestion at critical junctures.
The multi-phase approach reflects efforts to manage the township's expansion while maintaining adequate infrastructure standards. Officials anticipate that the improvements will facilitate smoother traffic movement and support economic activity within Bandar Madani as the area continues to develop.
The ministry's commitment to the project underscores the government's focus on upgrading urban infrastructure in developing townships across the region. The phased implementation schedule allows for systematic progress while managing financial and logistical considerations over the 15-year period.
