LEGAZPI CITY, ALBAY — Families of Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo and Presidential Legislative Liaison Office Secretary Joey Salceda visited the final resting places of their departed relatives in the Bicol region on Sunday, November 1, in observation of All Saints' Day.
Salceda paid his respects at the Garden of Faith cemetery in Barangay Sugcad, Polangui, while members of Robredo's family visited burial grounds in Camarines Sur. The simultaneous cemetery visits underscored the significance of the religious and cultural occasion among Filipino families across South Luzon.
All Saints' Day remains one of the most widely observed commemorations in the Philippines, with families traditionally visiting cemeteries to clean grave sites, offer flowers, and remember deceased relatives. The custom reflects deep-rooted Filipino values of honoring ancestors and maintaining family bonds across generations.
