Romualdez entitled to respond to Bonoan allegations, lawyer argues
The legal representative of Leyte Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez has called for the lawmaker to be given an opportunity to address any claims that may be raised by former Public Works Secretary Manuel Bonoan.

Lawyer Ade Fajardo issued the statement on Sunday, asserting that Romualdez should be accorded the right to comment on and refute any new accusations that Bonoan might present against him.
Fajardo's statement comes amid indications that the former Cabinet official may air allegations related to the congressman. The lawyer emphasized that due process requires that Romualdez be given sufficient opportunity to respond to any charges before they become public.
No specific allegations from Bonoan have yet been formally disclosed. However, Fajardo's preemptive statement signals the congressman's legal team is preparing to address potential claims that may emerge from the former public works chief.
The matter remains ongoing, with observers awaiting further developments from both Bonoan and Romualdez's camp regarding the nature of any disputes between the two public figures.
