RoRo vessel successfully refloated after running aground in Mindoro

A roll-on/roll-off cargo vessel that ran aground off Occidental Mindoro has been refloated and safely towed to port. The M/V Roromaster 5 was successfully pulled free early Friday morning with assistance from local emergency responders.

The M/V Roromaster 5 was refloated at approximately 1:30 a.m. on September 18 after running aground off Barangay Udalo in Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro, according to local emergency officials in Calapan City. Following the successful refloating operation, the vessel was towed safely to Abra de Ilog Port.
