The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to convene an important national meeting in Indore during the first week of November, bringing together key leadership of the Hindu nationalist organisation.
The three-day conclave, scheduled from November 2 to 4, assumes particular significance as it arrives in the aftermath of the Sangh's centenary year commemorations. The organisation had organised an extensive series of programmes and events across the country throughout its 100-year milestone year, concluding with observances during Vijayadashami in recent weeks.
The Indore gathering is expected to serve as a platform for the RSS to assess its activities during the centenary period and chart future organisational directions. Such national meetings typically see participation from senior functionaries and representatives of various Sangh affiliates.
The timing of the conclave reflects the organisation's practice of holding major deliberative sessions following significant milestones or periods of intensive activity. The Indore venue is considered a traditional stronghold for RSS activities in central India.
