The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is moving away from its traditional annual meeting schedule for its highest governing body. The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha will now convene in Nagpur once every three years instead of annually.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has decided to alter the frequency of its apex decision-making body's meetings, shifting from an annual cycle to a triennial gathering, according to sources familiar with the development.
The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, which serves as the RSS's highest governing forum, will henceforth meet in Nagpur every three years rather than annually. The change marks a significant departure from the organisation's long-standing practice of holding yearly conclaves to chart strategic directions and review organisational matters.
The decision reflects evolving considerations within the ideological organisation regarding the frequency and timing of its major policy deliberations. Nagpur has historically served as the headquarters and spiritual centre of the RSS, making it the designated venue for such significant gatherings.
The move comes as the RSS, which was founded in 1925, continues to adapt its institutional functioning while maintaining its core organisational structure. The triennial meeting schedule is expected to provide extended periods for implementation of decisions taken during the conclaves.
