The last bus tour of the SAF Training Institute (SAFTI MI) departed at 3pm on October 2, bringing to a close the military's public tour programme at its LSingapore training complex. The institute, located on Jalan Bukit Gombak, has previously offered guided tours allowing civilians to gain insight into military operations and training facilities. Officials have not immediately disclosed the reasons behind the suspension or whether the programme will resume in future. SAFTI MI, established in 1957, serves as the primary training hub for the Singapore Armed Forces and hosts various military courses and strategic operations. The institute is home to the SAFTI Military Museum, which showcases Singapore's military heritage and development.
