Samsung raises Galaxy S26 flagship prices by up to 17 percent
South Korea's Samsung has lifted prices across its Galaxy S26 smartphone lineup by double digits, with the entry-level model now commanding Rs 1,02,999 compared to its January launch price of Rs 87,999.

The price increases, which range from roughly 13 to 17 percent depending on storage capacity, come as the consumer electronics giant seeks to maintain margins in the premium segment ahead of India's festive shopping season.
The Galaxy S26 base variant with 256GB storage has seen the steepest increase, climbing 17 percent to Rs 1,02,999. The Galaxy S26+ with 256GB storage rose 12.5 percent to Rs 1,34,999, while the 512GB variant jumped 13.9 percent to Rs 1,22,999. The flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra, originally launched at Rs 1,39,999, now starts above that threshold, with the top 1TB model positioned at Rs 2,14,999.
The latest adjustments extend a pricing trajectory that began with the S26 series' January launch, when Samsung already imposed increases of 8-15 percent relative to the preceding Galaxy S25 lineup. All S26 models now retail for more than Rs 1 lakh, underscoring the company's focus on the premium handset market in India.
Manufacturers typically calibrate pricing strategies around major buying periods. The timing of Samsung's move suggests anticipation of strong consumer demand during the upcoming festive shopping window, a critical period for electronics sales in the Indian market.
