SAN CARLOS CITY, Pangasinan – Police arrested an unemployed 38-year-old man during an early morning drug operation in this Pangasinan city on Tuesday, October 6.
The suspect was apprehended during a controlled buy-bust transaction, authorities said. Officers recovered four heat-sealed sachets containing an estimated 36.3 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P246,840.
Police said the operation targeted the suspect for alleged involvement in illegal drug distribution. The seized narcotics were documented and turned over to appropriate authorities for laboratory examination and further investigation.
The arrest adds to ongoing law enforcement efforts across the region aimed at dismantling drug distribution networks. The suspect faces charges related to possession and sale of prohibited drugs pending further case development.
