SAN JUAN CITY – The Local School Board (LSB) of San Juan City has greenlit the allocation of funds for the procurement of security detection equipment in public schools, marking a step toward bolstered campus safety measures.
Mayor Francis Zamora, who chairs the LSB, presided over the meeting where the resolution was deliberated and approved. The funding authorization covers the purchase of walk-through metal detectors and additional handheld metal detector units for distribution across the city's public school system.
