CLSA has launched coverage of Sansera Engineering with an outperform rating, signalling confidence in the company's growth trajectory as it expands into emerging automotive technology segments. The brokerage views the company's advanced driver assistance systems business as a key growth driver, terming it a 'growth engine taking wings' for the Bengaluru-based automotive component manufacturer.

The ADS business represents a strategic pivot for Sansera, which traditionally focused on conventional automotive components. CLSA's analysis suggests the segment is positioned to capture growing demand from original equipment manufacturers transitioning towards autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle technologies across Asia's automotive markets.

According to the brokerage's projections, revenue from the ADS business is expected to expand substantially, scaling approximately 4.5 times between fiscal 2025 and fiscal 2027. This growth trajectory reflects both capacity expansion and increasing adoption of advanced safety features in vehicles manufactured across the region.

Sansera Engineering has been strategically investing in research and development to strengthen its capabilities in advanced driver assistance systems, aligning with global automotive trends toward vehicle safety and autonomous driving features. The company's positioning in the Indian automotive supply chain, combined with its technological investments, positions it to benefit from the industry's structural shift towards advanced technologies.

The initiation report underscores growing investor interest in Indian automotive component manufacturers that are transitioning from traditional segments into higher-margin, technology-intensive businesses catering to the evolving demands of vehicle manufacturers.
