Sapphire Foods India posted consolidated revenue of ₹888 crore in Q2FY27, marking a year-on-year increase of 19.6 per cent, signaling continued momentum in the company's operational performance despite persistent profitability challenges.
The company's KFC division emerged as a key growth driver, recording same-store sales growth of 14 per cent during the quarter. The fried chicken chain's strong performance reflected sustained consumer demand and effective operational execution across its restaurant network in India.
Pizza Hut India, the company's pizza-focused brand, contributed additional growth with same-store sales expansion of 5 per cent, though at a more modest pace than its sister brand. The differential growth rates underscore varying market dynamics between the two quick-service restaurant categories.
The significant narrowing of net losses to ₹1.5 crore—a substantial improvement from prior quarters—reflects improving operational efficiency and the benefits of revenue scaling. The reduction in losses, coupled with double-digit revenue expansion, suggests the company is progressing toward profitability as it consolidates its market position in India's competitive quick-service restaurant sector.
